ABOUT ME
-Proud to Serve-
I am Allan Bounds and I’ve spent my professional life building and growing large corporate businesses in a highly competitive environment through accomplishment, dedication, persistence and leadership. After more than 40 years in senior executive roles, I retired in 2022 with extensive experience managing teams, overseeing multi-million dollar projects and budgets, by making decisions that balanced responsibility with proven results.
I hold an MBA in Management and Finance, which provided me the tools to handle complex challenges and implement effective plans, strategies and successful outcomes. My career taught me the importance of accountability, collaboration, and planning for the long term — skills that I believe are just as important in public service as they are in business.
Outside of my professional life, I am a veteran and proudly served in the United States Navy. After 40 years in the energy industry, I retired and continued my commitment to service here in The Woodlands as a Township Ranger. Over the years, I’ve also been actively involved in civic organizations such as Rotary, the Salvation Army, and the Chamber of Commerce, giving me the opportunity to work directly with people and organizations dedicated to strengthening our community.

Now, I want to apply my knowledge, expertise & leadership experience to serve my community on the Township Board of Directors. I am committed to working as a positive contributor with my fellow Board, in concentrating on key issues, fiscal policy and public transparency with a focus on timely and practical results that will serve our community for years to come.
A Commitment to Public Safety
Public safety will always remain the highest priority for our community. Every initiative to maintain, preserve, and grow The Woodlands is guided by the responsibility to protect our residents and enhance their quality of life
